Mowing

We call it Custom Mowing for a reason! Our mowing crews tailor their mowing techniques based upon your lawn’s needs.  We will adjust the type of mower, stripes and trimming techniques to fit your property and leave you with a perfectly manicured, “striped” turf. Our experienced team of mowing professionals change directions each time they mow to avoid any damage and to ensure you will always have a healthy, clean cut. Our mowing staff undergoes extensive weekly training to learn the symptoms of turf and shrub diseases and how to identify other problems in your yard. The same crew will be on your lawn each week and will apply their knowledge of the industry to your property.

In the spring our professional grade mowers are set at 3 ½ inches. In order to maintain high quality turf, you need to mow frequently when the grass is growing at a fast pace. You want to remove no more than 1/3 of the length of the grass blades so the turf is not put under stress. During the warmer summer months we raise our mower height to 3 ¾ inches to help prevent burning your lawn and to aide in preventing weeds from coming up.  Quality slips are left on your door weekly to notify you of potential problems with your lawn and to provide helpful hints to help keep your lawn in the best shape possible.  We have Quality Control Coordinators on staff who are dedicated to making sure your lawn is mowed and maintained to the “Aspen standard”.  Weekly “quality checks” are performed to ensure that we provide you and your lawn with exceptional service all year long.
